Hartington Business Park

Consisting of 11 new commercial units, this project will continue the expansion of the existing Hartington Business Park scheme for Devonshire Property Group and support the wider strategic growth of the Chesterfield, Staveley area. The project directly supports EMIZ’s commitment to green innovation and advanced manufacturing, strengthening the area’s position as a hub for sustainable industrial development. The project is scheduled to take 32 weeks to complete. 

Our approach has included managing and supporting the Reserved Matters planning application, overseeing earthworks validation to ensure the site was capable of construction and coordinating the design process. We have also supported cost planning, provided client-side project management and managed the procurement process to help progress the scheme effectively from planning through to delivery.

Two key highlights of the project have been the agreement of the PV panel design for installation and the upgrade of site infrastructure, including a new substation and associated on-site works. Together, these elements support the delivery of a modern, future-ready commercial development, strengthening the scheme’s sustainability credentials while ensuring the site has the infrastructure capacity needed to serve the new industrial units effectively. As well as this, the project has received a 'Very Good' rating from BREEAM.
