Jonathon founded the Company and has overall responsibility for delivery of services to our clients across all sectors. Jonathon has spent over 20 years in the construction industry, providing infrastructure advice to both public and private sector clients.

Sue has over 25 years experience in the construction industry, having worked in a number of different roles including main contract project manager, local authority client, and currently as Regional Director (Project Management) at Bentley. Sue specialises in the delivery of local authority-led built environment schemes, bringing a wealth of experience in public sector procurement, governance and programme management.

Dan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who leads our Cost Management team. With experience in cost planning, contract administration and commercial management services, his main focus since joining Bentley has been in the strategic land sector delivering a number of successful infrastructure schemes, while also working on building projects in the commercial and retail sectors.

Andrew Halcarz

Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in major infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in strategic highway interventions, Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) delivered through DCO applications and complex civil engineering enabling works.
Andrew provides robust commercial advice during feasibility, funding application stages and continues to monitor viability throughout planning and design development. His extensive experience spans multiple sectors including commercial land, public sector highways and rail.

Caroline has joined as Head of Finance and is an ACCA Qualified Accountant with 15 years' experience across multiple sectors including professional services. Caroline brings valuable experience from various business settings of implementing financial systems for accurate and insightful reporting.

Sonia is a chartered Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent / Client’s Representative with 20 years’ experience in all pre- and post-contract duties across a broad range of sectors (infrastructure, urban regeneration, commercial). Her areas of expertise include large scale logistics and industrial developments from pre-acquisition appraisal to building completion.

Tom Mascari

Tom is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and specialises in strategic land development. He brings a wealth of experience in advising clients on the servicing of land for residential and commercial development and acts on behalf of master developers, landowners, land promoters and agents.
Specialist advice that Tom provides to his clients include estimating land servicing / S106 costs; delivery, phasing and viability; development cashflows; and negotiating land value deductible costs.
Carbon
reduction plan
At Bentley, we’re committed to reaching Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040. Using 2023–24 as our baseline year, we’ve already reduced our total market-based emissions by 9.7% to 259.5 tCO₂e in 2024–25. Our targets include cutting Scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, measuring all Scope 3 categories by 2026, and reducing measured Scope 3 emissions by 42%.
This year, we’ve advanced our progress through Carbon Literacy training, the introduction of a recycling hub, a Sustainable Travel Policy, and achieving ISO 14001 accreditation. Looking ahead, we’ll continue to improve office energy efficiency, transition to 100% renewable electricity, and strengthen sustainability awareness through our growing ESG team.
These actions form a key part of our long-term plan to reduce absolute emissions by 90% and offset any residual carbon through verified schemes — ensuring Bentley plays its part in creating a low-carbon future.
