Phase 2 of the OCOR Scheme delivered comprehensive flood resilience along a 13km stretch of the River Derwent. The project safeguarded key city-centre areas, enabling regeneration while carefully integrating environmental and heritage considerations.

Worked closely with the design team and contractor to ensure the flood defence design was both technically robust and practically deliverable. Detailed phasing and enabling work packages were employed to navigate complex land acquisition requirements and interactions with utilities and heritage assets.

Planning permission achieved, contractor appointed, and start on site successfully prepared, marking significant progress on a technically challenging city-centre flood defence project.
