Optimus Point, Glenfield

The Optimus Point scheme involves the delivery of offices ranging from 5,000ft2 to 100,000ft2 and industrial units ranging in size from 30,000ft2 to 276,000ft2 and 240 residential units and associated infrastructure on a 65 acre site.

In order to service the site major new offsite infrastructure works are required including reinforcement and new services, SUDs storm water drainage, foul water drainage, major services diversions, alongside new public open spaces, formation of ecology areas, infrastructure landscaping, major earthworks and the stopping up of highways. The cost of the overall infrastructure works package is approx. £18m.

Bentley Project Management is providing a suite of services on the project including:

  • Full Project Management in coordination with QS, Planning Director and Development Management roles including:
  • Due Diligence
  • Coordination and Management of the Design Team
  • Technical Vetting of all Information
  • Appointments
  • Project Programming
  • Ensuring all pre-contract activities are completed
  • Working with and advising future possible tenants
  • Assisting the Developer with Development Deals
  • Risk Management
  • Ensuring the tender packages meet the clients brief
  • Monitoring legal agreements
  • Coordination and Management of all Consultants on the project

  • Preparation and monitoring of Abortive Costs
